Volunteer Requirements

All volunteers must fulfill the following obligations:

1. Complete a volunteer registration form
2. Complete an interview with the Manager of Volunteer Services
3. Provide three personal references
4. Have a mantoux screening (for tuberculosis). A 2-step mantoux is required for anyone working with children. The mantoux test is provided free of charge here at Bancroft or you can choose to have it administered by your personal physician.
5. Provide a fit-for-duty status signed by a physician.
6. Sign a statement to acknowledge your responsibility to report any pending charges and/or previous convictions for any crimes or offenses.
7. Complete Volunteer Orientation and Training
