Haddonfield, NJ—February 2, 2010—Bancroft (www.bancroft.org), a human service provider of education, residential, vocational and rehabilitation services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries and other neurological challenges, welcomes Thomas J. Burke to its executive team.
Burke joins Bancroft as Chief Financial Officer and, among many financial responsibilities, will implement financial goals, create funding strategies and develop a capital improvement budget for the organization. Burke joins Bancroft from Trefoil Properties, LP, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this position, he served as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer/Director of Chapel Mortgage Corporation.

Burke has experience in the areas of strategic planning, debt and equity capital raising and operations and financial analysis. Burke has knowledge in developing operational systems for financial functions on a situational basis and focuses on growth-oriented planning. Burke has also held positions at Berwind Financial Group, Merrill Lynch and Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he gained management experience in real estate, banking and public accounting.
