Action
Alert!!!
Help retain
vital services for your family member!
The
New Jersey Governor has announced $400 million in
mid-year budget cuts, with each state department
now being asked to come up with its share of the
cuts. The Department of Human Services is the
largest department in the state, and so this is a
concern for organizations like Bancroft. Bancroft
relies heavily on state funding to provide the
kind of services we all want for our loved ones.
Services will have to change if funding is cut.
Act now to help avoid cutbacks.
Use
the link below to send messages to the Governor,
the Department of Human Services, and the
Legislature that budget decisions must be based on
values. There is a human and personal impact
behind every budget decision. We are urging: No Cuts to Services for
People with Developmental Disabilities.
Thousands of people with
developmental disabilities and their families are
already waiting years for some services because of
insufficient resources. State funded services in
residential, day programs, family support and
Medicaid are lifelines for people with
developmental disabilities and their families. We
must be able to continue to provide quality
programs for those we support.
We
need to send as many e-mails as possible to the
New Jersey Governor, Governor-elect, Department of
Human Services, and Legislature urging them that
there be no cuts to services for people with
developmental disabilities. Click here to learn

Now,
with Voter Voice, it's easy to send your
communications to these officials, through the
ABCD website. Just click this link below, and you
can send to everyone in a matter of a
minute:

the link does not work by clicking on it, cut and

Thank you! Together we can stop
cuts to services!
