Sexuality and People with Developmental Disabilities

WHAT: Bancroft NeuroHealth’s FREE workshop series on topics related to developmental disabilities will hold a workshop on Sexuality and People with Developmental Disabilities. The focus will be on the sexual development of children from birth through the onset of adulthood, stages of sexual development, educational strategies to promote understanding of physical and social sexual changes for the teenager with a developmental disability and the importance of open communication on sexuality as a natural part of human life. Families of individuals with developmental disabilities and professionals are encouraged to attend; continuing education credits (CEUs) are available.
