Expanding Food Choices: Sensory, Motor and Behavioral Perspectives
WHAT: Bancroft NeuroHealth’s FREE workshop series on topics related to developmental disabilities will hold a workshop on Expanding Food Choices: Sensory, Motor and Behavioral Perspectives. Discussion will focus on the developmental stages of feeding from bottle to solid foods, feeding difficulties for people with developmental disabilities and strategies to promote feeding from a sensory/tactile, oral motor desensitization, behavior limit setting and positive reinforcement perspective. This workshop is open to the public. Families of individuals with developmental disabilities and professionals are encouraged to attend; continuing education credits (CEUs) are available.
