Take the New Jersey Turnpike North until Exit 7A (I-195 E, Lakewood/Shore
Points). Merge onto I-195 E until Exit 31-A and merge onto Lakewood Farmingdale
Road/CR-547 S. Next, turn left onto CR-549/Herbertsville Road. Staying on Herbertsville Rd., bear right at the first fork and left at the second fork. Follow Herbertsville Road to Route 70. Turn right onto Route 70 West, and look for the Bancroft sign on the right after crossing Morris Ave.
From Northern New Jersey
Take the Garden State Parkway South. Take the parkway Express Lane South
toward Express/Exits 117-105/Asbury Park/South Jersey. Merge onto Garden
State Parkway South. Take CR-549 exit, Exit 91 toward Lakewood/Brick Twp.
Take the ramp toward Pt. Pleasant/Herbertsville/Burnt Tavern Road East.
Turn slight right onto CR-549/Lanes Mill Road. Continue to follow CR-549.
Stay straight to go onto Burnt Tavern Road. Turn right onto Route 70 West.
Follow directions for Route 70 West below.
From Route 70 East
Travel along Route 70 East until you pass under Route 9 and see Home Depot
and Walmart. You will then come to a traffic light at Van Zile Road. Proceed
past this light until the next light at Morris Ave./Old Squan. Take the
jughandle to loop back onto Route 70 West. Travel approximately 400 yards
and look for the signs. Turn right into the driveway and follow until you
reach the site.
